KNX Works Package
Islington Square is a major landmark development located just off Upper Street, Islington consisting of 6 sperate blocks of mixed use residential, commercial and retail units.
A KNX home automation system was designed, installed and commissioned for 191 apartments. This consisted of building and installation of an ABB metal distribution board for each apartment containing GIRA KNX switching, dimming and DALI modules internally wired to dedicated terminals for connection to the individual lighting circuits. A Zennio Z41 Pro touch screen display panel was installed in each of the private apartments to enable the end user to fully control their apartment lighting remotely via the Zennio Pro app.
For the Penthouse and Maisonette apartments, a whole house KNX system was designed, installed and commissioned to integrate the lighting, heating, cooling and automated curtains/blinds together and allows users to control these systems via a cloud based Theben Serva graphical interface App.
Infinity Control Solutions work package, BMS
A new Distech Envysion system was designed, installed and commissioned consisting of 7 MCCs one serving the main energy centre consisting of a combined heat and power unit (CHP), 2 LPHW boilers, packaged heat pumps, packaged bore hole system, plate heat exchangers and ventilation systems. This included BMS monitoring and control of the CHP, LTHW boilers, ground source system. Other MCCs and local outstations are located in various plant rooms and risers across the site for local monitoring and control of tank rooms, ventilation systems and metering. A separate site wide Landlord’s Energy Management System was installed to provide metering data logging for exporting to a third party billing system.

BMS Brodick Castle is located on the eastern shore of the island of Arran off the West Coast of Scotland. A new BMS consisting of a new MCC with Distech Envysion hardware platform was designed, installed and commissioned as part of an upgrade to replace the existing LTHW boiler room control systems.

The Chimes is a new residential development comprising of 36 No. 2 bedroom residential apartments, communal areas, private dining area and wellness centre.
Three BMS control enclosures were installed and commissioned consisting of a Tridium N4 hardware to serve the main Landlord’s plant infrastructure, all mechanical plant is electrically fed from dedicated local distribution boards. The primary source of low temperature hot water is generated by packaged air source heat pumps to elevate the water temperature in two stages to the required distribution temperature via 2 thermal stores to the residential apartments’ packaged heat interface units. The heat pump systems also provide the primary source for the domestic hot water services for the café and wellness areas. The packaged LTHW heat pumps are are monitored and controlled by the BMS via a high level BACnet interface. The café, wellness centre and back of house areas are served by 2 dedicated air handling units and individual extract fans to serve the Back of House areas. The systems are controlled and monitored by the BMS. The BMS monitors the Landlord’s LV metering system via a Modbus interface to provide both real time and historical metering data.

Westminster Fire Station is an Edwardian Grade II-listed former fire station has been repurposed into 17 apartments and duplex apartments including a restaurant on the ground floor. A KNX automation system was designed, installed and commissioned to serve the apartment lighting circuits. This consisted of building and installation of an ABB metal clad 3 row distribution board for each apartment containing Theben KNX switching, dimming and DALI modules internally wired to dedicated terminals for connection to the individual lighting circuits. A Zennio Z41 Pro touch screen display panel was installed in each apartment utility cupboard to enable the end user to fully control their apartment lighting remotely via the Zennio Pro app.

BMS Control System BMS Works Package
A new BMS was designed, installed and commissioned consisting of an MCC to serve the new purpose built basement boiler plantroom providing primary LTHW heating to the residential apartments’ packaged heat interface units. The BMS monitors the primary and secondary heating pumps and Landlord’s LV metering system via Modbus interfaces to provide both real time and historical data.

Union Wharf consists of 249 rental only residential apartments across a 23-storey block and 12-storey block overlooking the River Thames in Greenwich.
A new Honeywell Centraline N4 platform was designed, installed and commissioned comprising of a BMS control enclosure serving the lower ground floor energy centre. Two further BMS control enclosures serve the air handling units and packaged chiller units are located on the roof of each building to provide conditioned air to the shared amenity spaces on the upper floors of each block. The mechanical plant is electrically fed from dedicated local mechanical distribution boards. The BMS interfaces with the Landlord’s metering via Modbus, Landlord’s VRF system via BACnet and heat meters via MBus interface providing both real time and historical metering data.
Located between Battersea Power Station and Embassy Garden sites, comprises of 262 residential apartments located within three 11 to 13 storey buildings that share use of a communal courtyard on a First Floor podium.

The Landlord’s BMS control system consists of a Trend IQ4 hardware platform and four BMS control panels serving the central energy centre LTHW system cold water services and packaged air cooled chillers providing LTHW and CHW distribution to the three residential apartment blocks. The BMS interfaces with the Landlord’s LV metering and LTHW and CHW energy meters via MBus interface providing both real time and historical metering data.
Three elegant sculptural buildings within landscaped park setting, including two residential blocks – fifteen and nineteen storeys respectively – along with amenity at ground including cinema, games room, cafe spaces, retail, wellness and cultural spaces. Designs for the residential building elements are driven by optimising their slender footprints to be adaptive and maximise amenity space and local views. A gently twisting form, combined with undulating curved terraces wrapping around the exterior, affords the buildings a considered sculptural aesthetic.
